Blumarine's Y2K becomes Kawaii with Hello Kitty Protagonist of the new capsule collection with Sanrio
Once again Nicola Brognano draws on childhood imagery to stage our teenage dreams: Blumarine today presents an exclusive capsule collection born from the collaboration with Sanrio's most loved character, Hello Kitty. A limited edition that sees the famous Japanese icon as the absolute protagonists and a light-hearted and hyper-feminine sensuality - typically Blumarine - that immediately portends Y2K, reinterpreted this time in a kawaii key. After the relaunch of the butterfly-trend and the prosperity of items in the most varied shades of pink, the famous character created in 1974 in Tokyo and registered in 1976, which generates a turnover of 1 billion dollars every year, is added to the imaginary world of Blumarine by Brognano.
Twelve special garments and a set of sparkling accessories, with some of the absolute must-haves of the Blumarine collections: flair jeans, miniskirt and denim jacket customized with tonal patches, BluVi, also in one-shoulder and cropped version, with profiles in faux fur, the cornely knitwear with thread embroidery, the oversized sweatshirt, the bandana top with fringes and the one completely embellished with sequins. To complete the look, sparkling mini-bags, a belt with maxi buckle, choker and hairpin in strictly pink galvanic.
The capsule collection is available from 1 December as a worldwide exclusive on the official website of Ssense and Blumarine.
