Earrings for summer 2023 The ear cuff is the new jewellery trend
It has very ancient origins, said to be 2000 BC in the British Isles and 350 BC in Greece. In the 1800s it landed in Europe, where it was made of precious materials and set with pearls or stones. But it was not until 1950 that Marcel Boucher, a French jeweller who had landed in the US in the early 20th century, created the Earrite, an earring that attaches to the pinna and adorns the whole ear. Hollywood went crazy and all the stars were seen wearing one of his creations. While in 1980 it was still worn as an object of rebellion, today the earring is a season-independent item of jewellery with undisputed charm.
