While for many the typical housewife wears ‘60s dresses, aprons and dishcloths, Marc Cherry’s Desperate Housewives and its iconic characters demonstrated that there is no such thing as a housewife's dress code — and that taking care of home and children does not have to mean sacrificing sartorial choices.
